Any plan for 6LowPAN BLE or Zigbee ?

RTT is the taste Linux programmers like, great stuff. I wonder if wireless connenction could be supported later? like bluetooth and zigbee, etc. Atmel has just release a ARM cortex M, zigbee and ethernet gateway, see PDF: "Atmel AT02447: ZigBee PRO to Ethernet and Wi-Fi Gateway with SAM3X – Software User’s Guide" Is that possible to porting 6lowPAN into RTT, by borrowing radio drivers code from Contiki. So far as I know, contiki using Cisco IPv6 stack, it is detached from radio. There is pthread responding the radio activity, rewrite this thread may work for LwIP lib. RTT is more capable than contiki to do gateway task. Thanks

Yes, the low power level of wireless connections is a good direction and is a must for RT-Thread. We have considered the bluetooth 4.0 but no more time to do more work on it. For the Zigbee, it has applied to limited area. WIFI and bluetooth is a good choose. We have more dual-ETH board right now, therefore, we are also considering the IPv6 verification of lwIP. With the dual IPv4 and IPv6 stack, we can do more interest things on dual-ETH board. Anyway, we hope more people involved in community activities.

We have considered the bluetooth 4.0 but no more time to do more work on it. For the Zigbee, it has applied to limited area. WIFI and bluetooth is a good choose.
